The Aria Collection

Dubai, UAE

When the clients first sat with us, they asked for a one-level home that felt like a private resort: fluid to move through, generous for hosting, and calm enough to disappear into after a long day. That conversation shaped everything. We organized the plan around a simple axis from the entry to the horizon, then stretched broad roof planes to cast shade and stitch indoors to garden rooms. The floating canopy at the car court sets the tone, leading to a living pavilion that opens on three sides for cross-breezes and for those Dubai dusk moments. Together with the clients we walked the site at sunrise and late afternoon; that is how the main suite ended up catching the soft morning light while the family lounge faces the golden evening lawn.

Materials were kept honest and tactile: pale limestone and travertine, warm wood at the soffits, and charcoal accents to ground the composition. Deep overhangs, high-performance glazing, insulated roofs, and native, low-water planting do the quiet work of comfort. We prototyped the entry screen and the linear lighting with the clients, full scale, until the glow felt just right.
The Aria Collection is intentionally simple: long lines, easy circulation, and a garden that feels like an extension of the rooms. It is a house tuned to climate and routine, designed hand-in-hand with a family who values ease, light, and a touch of ceremony at the front door.
