Cour Soleil
When we began designing Cour Soleil, the client came to us with a simple but deeply personal brief they wanted a home that would feel alive with light, where the shifting sun could be experienced as part of daily life. From our first conversation, we knew that the architecture had to embrace openness without losing intimacy. We worked closely with them to map how they used each space where they liked to have their morning coffee, how they entertained guests, and which views felt most calming. This guided the orientation of the structure, allowing natural light to flood the living areas in the morning and wash the facades in warm amber tones by evening. The tall, slender windows were a deliberate choice to frame nature like art, while the deep overhangs and warm stone details softened the strong modern lines.
