Serenata House
From the very beginning, the client’s vision for Serenata House was clear they wanted a home that would feel like a quiet piece of art, yet still carry the warmth of a family residence. The brief was as much about emotion as it was about function: light-filled spaces, clean architectural lines, and a harmony of textures that would make the home both striking and livable. Our design journey was deeply collaborative. The client was involved in every major decision, from the orientation of the home to capture the soft evening light, to the palette of materials that now define its façade warm travertine stone paired with deep charcoal accents, softened by vertical timber details. Together, we explored ways to create balance: bold cantilevered volumes offset by expanses of glass, private retreats upstairs, and open, flowing spaces on the ground floor for gatherings. The landscaping became an extension of the architecture, framing the home in lush greenery while offering moments of seclusion. The driveway and entry sequence were carefully choreographed so that each approach reveals a different perspective of the structure, almost like turning the pages of a book. In the end, Serenata House is exactly what its name suggests a lyrical, balanced composition. It stands as a testament to a shared creative process, where every decision was rooted in the idea that great design should be both deeply personal and effortlessly timeless.
