Villa Solene
When our clients first sat with us, they asked for a home that felt like a quiet resort at the edge of the city. Calm lines, honest materials, and a courtyard that would gather the family at the end of each day. Villa Solene grew from that simple brief. We shaped the plan around a protected garden court with a long pool and a sunken lounge set at water level. The idea was to bring the horizon down and slow the pace. Together with the clients we mocked up seat heights, tested splash edges, and refined the sound of the wall fountain until it read as a soft hush rather than a showpiece. Their preference for soft neutrals led us to a pale stone and putty stucco palette, warmed by vertical timber screens on the upper floor.
